It’s truly heartwarming to witness the friendships that exist in the animal kingdom, especially when they’re between two different species. In Cincinnati Zoo, five adorable cheetah cubs are currently being looked after by a nurturing dog in the absence of their mother, Willow, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago.
The mother of the cubs passed away due to complications during a C-section, leaving the little ones without a caretaker. Fortunately, Blakely the Australian Shepherd came to their aid.
According to Dawn Strasser, the keeper of the cubs, Blakely deserves the title of a true hero. He has taken care of the cubs as if they were his own children. He has even become their teacher, teaching them how to play and jump on rocks carefully. Check out the video below to witness this heartwarming story.
